This genuine stingray leather is sourced from Thailand where the animals are farm-raised as a food source. Stingray skin is one of the most durable exotic leathers, and has been prized throughout history by cultures such as Egypt in the time of the Pharaohs, The Samurai of Japan, and the Han Dynasty.
While incredibly strong, this is a thin leather. To ensure it keeps it profile and appearance we've bonded the skin to a metal blade with a black-nickel finish.
